Spherical Cutting

We have developed original cutting tools and equipments for spherical machining. It has a special angle between the revolving cutters and the material. With these tools and equipments, we can machine spherically within an accuracy of 2 microns in true ball degrees and a surface roughness of 0.8S. It is said to be almost impossible for this high level machining using a general purpose NC machines. |

Artificial joint

Due to the increase in mankind's life span,long lasting artificial joints for hip prosthesis are being demanded. From our previous initiatives and experience in spherical machining we have decided to step into a new field known as the "Artificial Joints for Hip Prosthesis" in cooperation of the University of Hiroshima for development and researching to expand the life span of the artificial joints. |
